NTPC HAS COMMISSIONED 250 MW OF 1000 MW TEHRI PUMP STORAGE PROJECT IN THDC INDIA LTD
News: NTPC has commissioned 250 MW of 1000 MW Tehri pump storage project in THDC India Ltd. Secondly, NTPC has also commission 193 MW of 245 MW solar power capacity at NTPC Nokh Solar PV Project (3x245 MW). Total operational capacity of power generation in NTPC group reaches 80,708 MW.
View: NTPC aims to commission 1000 MW of pump storage capacity through Terhi PSP in FY26E. Commissioning of the psp project would increase generation capacity and thus lead to growth in revenue for the company to the tune of ₹520 crore per year. On the solar front NTPC as a group aims to add 7226 MW of renewable energy (excl Hydro) in FY26E.
